How to restore the broken bonds between governance, politics, economics, culture, the environment and ethics in view of the contemporary paradigms of growth, power, wealth, work and freedom embedded into the political, technological, economic and educational institutions? How to deal with the deterioration of collective responsibility and social functions of the state in view of political and economic systems that endorse the abuse of nature by monopoly companies? How to implement a new agenda for communication, advocacy, public policies, research and teaching programs in view of a set of values, norms and policies that prioritize socio-ecological objectives, human well-being, the quality of natural and built environments, the aesthetic, ethical and cultural meaning of existence, considering the different dimensions of being in the world (intimate, interactive, social and biophysical), as they combine to elicit, sustain and transform the events?
